St Patricks day Playdough

On St Patricks day, we learnt all about

how to make playdough, we made green playdough.

These are some of the ingredients that we used to make the playdough:

Boiling water, flour, cream of tartar, we also used oil and salt.

First we put the water, flour, cream of tartar, oil and salt into a bowl.

Next we had to use a big wooden spoon to stir all of the ingredients together.

Once all of the ingredients were mixed together, we got a bit of playdough each and rolled

it into a ball, then we pushed our finger into the ball to make a little hole, this is where we put

in the green food colouring. We made green playdough because it was St Patricks day.

Once we had put the dye in the playdough, we used our hands to knead the dough, this made the dye spread through the playdough and made it turn green. Once we had green playdough, we tryed to make our names and other pictures with it.

We had great fun making our playdough and playing with it.
